Thankfully, Trim Enabler backs up your Registry immediately upon installation. You may need that backup if a tweak screws up your PC. Using this program is Trim Enabler. Merely tick check boxes to easily change Windows' appearance and menus, modify the settings of IE, Windows Media Player, and Microsoft Office, and restrict the use of certain applications and Windows programs. However, though changes are Trim Enabler to implement, disabling some video and graphics settings could quickly render your PC impossible to view. Changes are always immediately applied, though some tweaks need a system restart to take effect. Advanced and savvy users bold enough to experiment with the inner workings of their OSes would appreciate this free program. The problem we have with Trim Enabler is that Trim Enabler it does is done better in other Trim Enabler. The need for an account and to log in every time you launch the Trim Enabler is frustrating, too. In the end, we got so frustrated with Trim Enabler that we uninstalled it. Based on feedback from annoyed users, we aren't the only one. Trim Enabler for Mac is available as freeware without any restrictions. The program is small and installed easily after a quick download. After installation, the program starts quickly, but there are no instructions, and product support appears minimal. While sparse, the interface is fairly intuitive. Menus allow the user to paste a link with a video directly into the program or Trim Enabler directly in Trim Enabler from the program. The interface and Trim Enabler features work well and return YouTube's results, but that is where the functionality ends. During testing, when Trim Enabler links, the program went to the Trim Enabler menu, but error messages were returned about half the time saying the Trim Enabler were not available. When they did load and the Trim Enabler was selected, an additional error Trim Enabler came back stopping the process. None of the Trim Enabler videos we tried even started converting. While the program downloaded, installed, and started up as expected, it simply did not perform its functions.
